One of our key missions is to help your employees (our members) retire comfortably. The Salt Retirement Journey directs a member’s retirement savings towards an effective, managed and client - centric investment strategy.

This unique retirement journey is specifically designed to manage the member’s retirement funds according to the member’s term to retirement.

The Salt Retirement Journey is initiated by investing the member’s retirement savings in a portfolio that aims to maximise capital growth over the employment term. This stage refers to Capital Growth or Capital Appreciation.


Then, when the member reach 5 years to retirement the portfolio is automatically rebalanced, not to a conservative or cash focused portfolio, but to a portfolio that changes the investment objective from maximum capital growth to a portfolio that includes a retirement focus.

"This strategic rebalance change the investment objective from capital growth to a combination of capital growth and capital preservation. A tactical decision is made to allocate a specific portion towards a more conservative investment objective to allow for lump sum and monthly withdrawals from retirement whilst the remaining remains focused on capital growth. 


Access to experienced investment managers and no restriction on managers if minimum criteria is met and approval from the Board of Trustees."
